Ah, springtime! You can find me either at a wedding encouraging nose nuzzling and/or forehead touching, or surrounded by bottles of Allegra and tissues, because ALLERGIES. Carry on, my fellow hayfever sufferers. Summer is coming!
A little recap of what we’ve been up to these past few months:
My sweet friends Jo & Emma trekked up from Maryland for a visit, and we went to Philly’s Flower Show! It was magical, and I marveled at all the flowers other people were able to keep alive. My withering cacti say hello.
My parents were in town and treated us to a visit to the Franklin Institute, to see the Art of the Brick! Also known as: Legos EVERYWHERE.
We found a Lego replica of Colby there. I’ve gone ahead and included a photo of the real Colby for your viewing and comparing pleasure.
One of my college roommates Alex got married last month, and we weren’t able to make it to her wedding, but I got to celebrate her at her shower! It was planned by our very own ADP bride and intern Carolyn, so you know the details were on point :)
The Invisibooth came to the shower, because there ain’t no party like an Invisibooth party. Or something like that.
If you haven’t already learned how to play Pandemic, you’re officially invited over, because we’re obsessed.
Kealan’s friend Galen came to visit, and they indulged me in a request to dye Easter Eggs.
Kealan’s egg is the one that says “Egg.” Mine are tye-dyed. Galen’s are the ones that are Sully and Mike Wazowski. He’s clearly on a whole different level.
Our church partnered with twenty-some other churches to give away three THOUSAND meals & dig 3 wells to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! Easter Outreach’s website is here, if you want more info!
Kealan’s birthday fell on Easter this year! We went and got burgers and shakes, the only appropriate birthday meal.
More gratuitous Colby photos.
We took CJ for his first swim of the year! EXTREMELY happy camper. Extremely smelly happy camper.
See you next time!
