Amy was my first true mom friend – we’d been going to the same church for a few years, but hadn’t officially crossed paths until after our first babies were born only weeks apart! Her husband was also in residency, so once she found out Kealan was a med student, she (kindly) dragged me to what we lovingly call a doctor-wife support group ;) Since then, our girls have become best friends, shared a nanny, and have together consumed at least thirty thousand goldfish. Now they get to walk through being big sisters together :)
