My last wedding for a few months… went out with a bang ;) Presenting Christen and Brian’s American Swedish Historical Museum wedding!
First look time!
Christen was SUCH A TROOPER and walked so far in her heels to make these next photos happen. Worth it.
GUYS Christen’s mom made the flower girl’s dress. I can’t. IT’S SO CUTE.
Placing Grandpa as bait is always a good bet :)
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I had to leave Christen and Brian’s wedding because the top of this champagne bottle cut my leg enough that I couldn’t stay. Aka a photographer’s WORST NIGHTMARE.
Christen didn’t know I was injured at this point, so don’t read her joyful face as sadistic :) She was just happy to be married!!
My assistant drove me home where Kealan stitched me up (12 stitches!). Luckily, I had THE BEST possible team already on-site, and another friend and regular second shooter rushed to the scene to make sure Christen and Brian had coverage! I owe SO MUCH to Bridget and Lauren – these photos are theirs, and they did such a phenomenal job.
Kealan was a speedy surgeon and I got to come back for the final hour of the party :)
Christen and Brian, thank you for being SO GRACIOUS when I had to leave your special day. People like you make my job a joy. Everyone else, if you want some behind-the-scenes photos of Kealan being my personal doctor, check out the highlights of my insta-stories ;)
