My college friend Becky and her sweet husband Julius found out that Julius had leukemia mere weeks before baby boy Lincoln was born. Lincoln had only days home with his daddy before Julius was admitted to start chemo. It’s been a very bumpy and difficult ride, filled with complications.
We were all hoping Julius would be back home for Lincoln’s newborn session, but he’s still in an inpatient rehab center, so Becky opted to capture this season of life as it is most of the time – just the two of them – before Lincoln got too big.
The upside of doing newborn photos a little later are the gummy baby smiles!
